1. The Service

Doomscrolling.us is an anonymous text submission platform where users can share what they're feeling and read what others have submitted. Submissions are public and anonymous — no account is required.

This Service is NOT a crisis service, NOT therapy, NOT counseling, and NOT medical advice. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

2. Age Restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. User Submissions

By submitting content to the Service, you grant Centricle LLC an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your submission in connection with the Service. Submissions are effectively public domain — you cannot retract them after posting.

4. Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Specific threats of violence against identified individuals
• Doxxing or personal information of others (names, addresses, phone numbers)
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)
• Terrorism or extremist recruitment content
• Commercial spam
• Detailed instructions for self-harm methods

5. Moderation

Content moderation is performed at the sole discretion of the operator. We may remove any content at any time for any reason. There is no appeal process. Content goes live immediately upon submission and is moderated reactively.

6. No Guarantee of Anonymity

While we do not require accounts and we hash IP addresses for internal use, we cannot guarantee absolute anonymity. We will comply with valid law enforcement subpoenas and court orders. Your IP address is logged by our hosting infrastructure.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Centricle LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SERVICE. USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT DOES NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS OF CENTRICLE LLC. WE DO NOT ENDORSE, VERIFY, OR TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONTENT SUBMITTED BY USERS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CENTRICLE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY CONTENT SUBMITTED BY USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Centricle LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, content you submit, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
